Eclipse Plug-in for eBay

Thursday, May 5th, 2005

The new Developers Program homepage is up! We successfully switched to Plone as a content management system. Besides re-doing and face lifting some of the pages we also added great new content.

One really exiting addition to the site is the Eclipse Plug-in for eBay I wrote. It brings My eBay to your Eclipse IDE, showing the items you are bidding on, watching and selling. It is open source and distributed under the General Public License. Let me know if you have any comments. I also added a Java / SOAP FetchToken sample that shows how a client application does the authentication process for client application.

And to get you all the information you always wanted to know about the eBay Developers Program we updated our FAQ section.

Enjoy!

The release got covered in Jeffrey’s weblog which got slashdotted later that day. The TiVo developer apps blog wrote something about it as well.

The application can be downloaded at the eBay Developers Program sample page. Enjoy!
